Xanatek Integration

The Xanatek integration for your BrightFire Insurance Agency Website supports both the Connect and "hosted" IMS version of Xanatek.

The integration does not support the self-hosted version of IMS.

Once activated, the integration will create a new Prospect Entity in Xanatek when a connected form is submitted on your BrightFire Insurance Agency Website.

Activation

License Key

The first step is to provide your Xanatek license key to BrightFire.

If you use Xanatek Connect, from the navigation on the left side of the screen, click on the handshake icon for Integrations. Then, click the "Copy License to Clipboard" button at the top of the screen.

Paste your license key into an email and send it to support@brightfire.com.

If you use Xanatek IMS, Xanatek's support team will need to generate a license key for you.

Email Xanatek's support team at tech@xanatek.com and request a license key.

Then, paste your license key into an email and send it to support@brightfire.com.

Configuration

Default Agency, CSR, & Producer

Once we have your Xanatek license key, we'll need to know your preference for the default agency, CSR, and producer for the new Prospect Entities created by the integration.

You can also set one or more of these settings to Unassigned if you do not want each new Prospect Entity assigned to a specific agency, CSR, or producer within Xanatek.

Field Mapping

BrightFire can set up your field mapping according to your preferences.

There are two required fields in Xanatek for Display Name and Email.

We will map the name and email address fields from your BrightFire website forms to these fields.

For phone numbers, the phone number field on your BrightFire website form can be mapped to the Xanatek field for Residential Phone Number, Business Phone Number, Mobile Phone Number, or Fax Phone Number. We'll need to know your preference for this field mapping.

We can also configure a note to be created on the Prospect Entity in Xanatek.

Our default configuration for the note is to contain the Type of Insurance that was selected on the form on your BrightFire website.

All notes created through the integration will include the text "Created via BrightFire website integration." at the end of the note.

New Prospect Entities in Xanatek

Once field mapping is complete, the integration will be active.

You can submit the integrated form on your BrightFire website to test the integration.

Please note that if the email address submitted through the form on your BrightFire website already exists in Xanatek, the integration will ignore the form submission and will not create a Prospect Entity in Xanatek.

If the email address submitted through the form on your BrightFire website does not already exist in Xanatek, a new Prospect Entity will be generated with the information submitted through the form on your BrightFire website.

A Contact will also be created within the Entity.
