ADA Compliance & WCAG 2.0 Guidelines

We periodically audit our platform with regard to ADA compliance and WCAG 2.0 guidelines. All of our customers benefit from optimizations that we regularly make to our platform; however, individual customizations including color schemes, graphics, and third-party integration may affect the scores reported on various accessibility tools.

With that being said, we do not guarantee that our sites are 100% ADA or WCAG 2.0 compliant.

Our approach to ADA compliance is to be as compliant as possible while striking a balance between aesthetics for the larger percentage of users and providing a highly accessible experience for users with accessibility issues.

We use two of the most popular accessibility auditing tools to test for ADA compliance: WAVE and Google Chrome’s Lighthouse. These tools are a tremendous help to developers as they uncover issues with ADA compliance, but they are not always 100% accurate. We typically have to review these reports line-by-line, disregard any false positives, and make our list of potential improvements.

It’s worth noting that it is very rare for any site to reach 100% compliance. Even businesses that provide ADA and WCAG 2.0 compliance services rarely have a perfectly accessible website themselves.

As ADA and WCAG 2.0 compliance continues to evolve, we will continue to periodically review how our sites perform in this regard, and we’ll continue to make ADA and WCAG 2.0 compliance improvements a priority.
